Matlock takes home the ADDYs!
And the award goes to…
Matlock Advertising & Public Relations! The 2012 Atlanta ADDY Awards, advertising’s most prestigious award and event, was hosted by The Atlanta Ad Club. Matlock’s work was recognized in a big way; despite being up against some of the top ad agencies, Matlock won out and took home some of the most coveted industry awards.
Matlock accepted three ADDY awards this year. The agency took home the Gold for the MINI 2011 Countryman Launch Print Campaign (Category: Consumer/Trade Campaign, Color); Silver for the Publix Supermarkets 2011 Black History Month Conversation Cards (Category: Public Service/Invitation); and Bronze for the Slavery By Another Name Documentary Fundraising Event posters (Category: Poster Campaign). “This ceremony is about recognizing talented individuals and agencies whose work shines above and beyond, I couldn’t be more proud of our team for always challenging themselves to do better and go further.” said Matlock CEO, Kent Matlock.
Kelley Cole Graham, Matlock’s Creative Director & Senior Vice President, stated “We really live by our agency creed; our focus is and always will be creativity, discipline, and strategy.” Cole Graham continued, “It was a great night for us, as it’s always an honor to be recognized by our peers.”
Having won the Gold for the MINI 2011 Countryman Launch print campaign, Matlock will now advance to compete in the American Advertising Federation’s District Addy Award in Nashville, TN in April. Wish us luck!
